Over the years, I’ve had my share of frustrating experiences — from babysitters who left halfway through the night, to housekeepers who canceled last minute with no consequences, to tutors who claimed “experience” but had no idea how to actually teach. Each time, I was left stressed, scrambling, and wishing there was a safer, more reliable way to find help.

That’s why I built Sarah’s Circle. Because when it comes to hiring anyone to support your family — whether a babysitter, tutor, or housekeeper — nothing matters more than trust and safety. A friendly personality or glowing review may seem convincing, but without proper vetting, we’re leaving too much to chance.

I’ll admit it: I’ve been guilty of booking help I didn’t really know and hoping it would work out. But one bad experience is all it takes to realize how important it is to truly know who’s walking into your home and caring for your kids.

With Sarah’s Circle, we’re changing that. We hold both sides accountable: if a babysitter, tutor, or housekeeper doesn’t show up, they’re removed from the platform. If a parent doesn’t treat providers with respect, they’re removed too. We’re here to make sure every experience is safe, reliable, and positive — for everyone.

I know how exhausting it is to post for help and get flooded with random messages, repeating the same questions, trying to compare prices and availability — all while worrying if the person is really trustworthy. And last-minute help? Nearly impossible to find, let alone vetted. I built Sarah’s Circle because I needed this myself.

Here’s how we vet every provider before they join:

• We personally meet each babysitter, tutor, or housekeeper to ensure they’re safe and qualified.
• We check at least one reference to validate their past work and professionalism.
• We offer the option of police clearance for added peace of mind.

Background checks aren’t about distrust — they’re about due diligence. They verify identity, past history, and reliability, while setting a higher standard of professionalism. Helpers who are open to being vetted show they take their work seriously and have nothing to hide.
